Established in 2008 by designer Kristy Barber, Kuwaii is duly esteemed for making beautiful, intelligently designed clothing and footwear for women. Made in Australia, Melbourne to be precise, each article is meticulously designed to last, and to be cherished.

Every single Kuwaii garment is made within 15km of their Brunswick head office. Producing locally means supporting the community by providing jobs and keeping trades alive, plus building strong and loyal personal relationships with makers, who work on each Kuwaii piece with an outstanding level of skill and a genuine level of care. By taking this hands-on approach, Kuwaii are able to ensure the quality and integrity of their garments and footwear.

In 2023, Kuwaii was accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia.

Kuwaii's vision is to be an alternative to fast fashion, made locally and made with love - and we couldn't love this more.
