The story of ADERIA dates back to 1819, when Iwasaburo Ishizuka began pursuing his hand blown glass making when the glass industry developed immensely during the Edo era (1615-1867). He continued to advance his glass making techniques and expand his line of work, eventually establishing a first glass factory in Nagoya, Aichi where Aderia manufacture all of their glassware today.
