Our favourite natural cleaning products

Ok, so no one loves cleaning. It’s not fun or glamorous, and we won’t pretend that it is. But, using cleaning products which contain less chemicals than supermarket brands is not only good for your home, but for the environment – it means less chemicals drained into our waterways and better health for our ecosystem. And – we really do believe – cleaning is at least a little more satisfying when you use our luxe products while you do it. 

Here are our favourite natural cleaning products that we just love using around the house.  

Dr Bronners Sal Suds - All Purpose Cleaner

Dr Bronner's Sal Suds Liquid Cleaner is not a soap, but rather a concentrated hard-surface all-purpose cleaner.

Perfect for general household cleaning (dishes, floors, laundry, etc.), it cleans and rinses with exceptional power, yet it is mild and gentle on the skin. Sal Suds Liquid Cleaner is equally effective in hard or soft water, rinsing freely, hot or cold. 

It's made with plant-based surfactants and natural fir needle and spruce essential oils (no cheap, harsh pine stump oil), without any synthetic dyes, fragrances or preservatives. 

It is 100% cruelty-free, as certified by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics, and it will biodegrade rapidly after doing its job.

Bondi Wash Bench Spray - Multi Purpose Spray Cleaner

The Bondi Wash Bench Spray is a wonderful, zesty refresher for your kitchen or bathroom in need of a spruicing! The natural oils and plant-based ingredients make the Bondi Wash Bench Spray smell like a perfume, yet clean very effectively.

I have cats that love jumping up on benches in the bathroom and kitchen so I'm constantly wiping down surfaces - but it's so reassuring to use a product that doesn't contain chemicals and won't harm my naughty kittens!

We also love the super refreshing, natural scent of lemon - it is so much better than that artificial smell from supermarket chemical-filled products!

Our Eco Toilet Bowl Cleaner

Toilet cleaner is definitely the least glamorous of cleaning products - but this fresh eucalyptus option fromOurEco leaves the bathroom smelling so good, and it does the job really well. I don't think we really need to say anything else.

Our Eco Mould Spray

Our Eco Mould Spray spray naturally kills mould spores with Oil of Clove, as nature intended. Clove oil is combined with succulent Sweet Orange oil, creating a spray that may not only kill and prevent mould, but fill your home with a warm and spicy citrus scent.

After allowing the oil of Clove the minimum 12 hours it takes to naturally kill mould, we recommend lightly scrubbing the surface with the bi-carb paste to remove dead mould. Then polish dry with a dry microfibre cloth and a multipurpose spray, as required.
