We absolutely love the The Laundress Wool & Cashmere Shampoo, which safely (and affordably) cleans and preserves our wool, cashmere, merino, mohair, blends, and more. Why dry clean when you can provide better care for your woollens at home, minus the toxins and extra cost?
Combining sandalwood, orange, and rose with a base of cedar, this sweet and spicy blend naturally repels moths and critters, leaving our favourite cosy woollens clean, fresh and smelling lovely.
The Laundress is an accredited Woolmark partner.
Made with natural ingredients. Free of petroleum, SLS, phosphate, phthalates, and dye. Cruelty-free. No animal by-products.
Directions: We recommend hand washing or machine washing in cold water. If machine washing, use a delicate or woollen cycle. Turn item inside out and insert in a Mesh Bag (optional). Lay flat to dry in natural shape. Never use the dryer. Steam as needed.
I always had problems washing my woolens with supermarket bought delicates wash. My garments would shrink and loose their luxurious softness.
I used this product on my wool jumpers and was very impressed. They came out same size and very soft. Also like its gentle scent.
Clean & Fresh
Great on your woollens and it has the most wonderful scent which makes your garment a pleasure to wear. I use it to wash my lingerie rather than the delicates wash to get a layering effect of clean wear. Love it.
An excellent product. I have looked for a gentle wool wash for ages, the supermarket eucalyptus based products do not do the trick. If you love your knitwear like I do mine then you should give it a try.
Until I came across this product, I tried everything else to clean my cashmere garments and just wasn't happy with it. Dry cleaning, washing with detergent specially for wools or silks - it left my cashmere in an undesirable condition. This stuff is perfect though - your cashmere will come out looking just as good as when you bought it. The after-wash scent isn't so-strong-I-can-smell-you-from-3-meters-away, but hardly noticeable, which I love. I wouldn't use anything else.
