The surface of each shell is hand-brushed with a non toxic matt white glaze, and fired to a high temperature to ensure it is strong and durable.

Variations and irregularities may occur in size, shape, colour and glaze, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind, telling the story of the hands that created it.
