This foundation is so light and yet gives really good coverage. For anyone who wants more coverage you can spray your kabuki brush lightly with water (or rosewater for a great perfume) and it turns the powder into more of a liquid foundation. Just rub the brush in circles over your face and it's done. For anyone who needs more moisture, rub rosehip oil onto your face prior to brushing on the powder. It can also be brushed lightly over a BB cream or Inika liquid foundation.
This foundation gives amazing coverage. You can have a light look for the day, and build it for a more 'made up' look. I love that it smooths my skin and doesn't look caked on.
I have been a long time user of a mineral foundation that is not natural. I was worried about moving to a natural foundation and still having good coverage while lasting the whole day. I was very impressed with Inika's lose mineral foundation, it lasted the whole day and gave me a flawless complexion. It did not highlight fine lines around my eyes and it felt great on. I have definitely found my new foundation.
I have some light acne scaring, pigmentation and uneven skin tone. This mineral foundation blures the lot! A little goes a long way and you can build it up for the coverage you require. The colour blends in nicely with your skin tone. Highly recommend! (and I’m a fuss pot with foundation)
This product was the one that made me fall in love with mineral makeup. I used this foundation and realised that mineral makeup could give a more beautiful finish and have a better staying power than chemist or department store brands.
First off, this foundation gives great coverage. I'm pretty pale, generally I wear the lightest or second-lightest colour in any range. I match best to "Unity", but I can wear "Grace", "Unity" or "Strength" without looking weird, as the colours are very forgiving. You really only need to brush on a small amount for good coverage. It doesn't even need to be buffed in - just brush on and go.
The finish of this foundation is beautiful. It's a semi-matte "airbrushed" look with just the teensiest bit of sheen. It's definitely not shiny like some other minerals have tended to be. I'm very oily, so I set with setting powder, and it lasts the day.
Good price point and so very lovely. I couldn't recommend more highly!
