Natural Supply Co started in Geelong in 2014 because we were tired of choosing between products that were good for you and products you actually wanted on the shelf. We stock over 130 brands that manage both.

We're Celeste and Sarah, and we've been friends a lot longer than we've been business partners! Sarah is a registered nurse who specialised in dermatology here and in London, and has sensitive skin and a nut allergy, which makes her very good at gentle-but-effective. Celeste's rule is simpler: she only stocks what she's happy to use on her son, in her home, on her skin, and send off through the waterways.

The easiest way to start

People come in and tell us they want to go low-tox but have no idea where to begin. Here's what we tell them: start with whatever you use the most. Usually that's your body wash, deodorant or your moisturiser. Swap that one thing, see how you find it, and then replace the others as you use them up.

Progress, not perfection. Nobody replaces everything at once, and you shouldn't feel bad about the half-used bottles under your sink.

If you'd just rather be told what's good

Fair enough. These are the things that customers repurchase most often, and the ones we continually reach for ourselves.

The Bits Nobody Tells you

Not all natural products are magic for every person and we're not going to pretend otherwise, but  A few honest notes before you buy.

  • Natural Deodorant

    It takes a couple of weeks for your body to adjust, and the first one you try might not be the one. Come back and tell us how you went and if needed, we can find you a better fit.

  • Natural Sunscreen

    Mineral formulas can leave a cast or be very hydrating, which can feel a bit greasy on some skin types. Some sunscreens are much better for some skin types than others, and we can tell you which, because we've tried all of them.

  • Is it actually better, or is it marketing?

    Sometimes the honest answer is that a product is better in one way and still comes in plastic. We'll tell you that. We'd rather you trusted us than bought more, and we only stock products that we stand by.

"A customer had initially bought the Babs deodorant from us but she was finding the paste formula wasn’t easy for her to use, particularly in the cooler months when the oils naturally harden. We helped her find a better alternative for winter which ended up being the Tuttofare deodorant, that comes in a stick. Apart from not having to use her fingers, she liked that it glided on easily, the fresh eucalyptus fragrance and that it was in cardboard packaging. We often recommend people try a different deodorant to find their holy grail, depending on the time of the year it is, what their hormones are doing or if they just want to change it up."

Nothing's on these shelves by accident

Everything is hand-picked by the two of us, and we've used pretty much all of it. Natural, cruelty-free, low-tox, and as close to zero waste as the category allows. If a brand can't tell us what's in something, it doesn't go on the shelf.

We also don't stock anything we wouldn't use ourselves, which sounds like marketing spin until you realise it's the reason the range is 130 brands and not 500.
