I'm not going to lie - we are lucky to get to try out a lot of amazing products here, so I've got a broad range of favourites from a mix of incredible low-tox brands!
Here are some of my current favourites. Stay tuned for updates as we bring in more exciting new products!
I have two (I'm so sorry, I like to change them up sometimes!) and these are my ride-or-die cleansers: the Mukti Hydrating Cleansing Lotion, which is so soft and gentle on the skin, and cleans skin beautifully (I use it with the Biologi Microfibre Cloths to make sure every skerrick of sunscreen/makeup is removed) and also the Eye of Horus Skin Cleansing Balm. This stuff is like butter, and melts makeup off and rinses easily. You won't regret trying either of these!
I use the Biologi Bf Restore religiously every morning, and the Mukti Hydrating Marigold Creme every night. This mix of moisturisers offers the perfect levels of hydration for my skin and noth are gentle on my rosacea-prone skin.
The Aleph Lift/Lengthen Mascara is my holy grail. It thickens and lengthens lashes so beautifully, while also leaving them feeling soft and fluffy, which I love. Can't beat this mascara - it's on the exxy, side, but so worth it.
Again, I am afraid I have a few favourites, and I can't pick between them.
For everyday - I mix it up between the Eye of Horus Second Skin Foundation in Warm/Beige and the Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation in Malt. These are seriously beautiful, feel invisible on the skin, and the Eye of Horus also offers SPF25 which is perfect for days spent mostly indoors.
On really hot days, I love the INIKA Loose Mineral Foundation - I wear the shade Unity. This has no shine to it, so I feel like it sits best on skin when it's hot and sweaty, and my natural oils come through by the end of the day without ending up looking like I've got an oil slick on my fave.
And for evening/event makeup, I would always go with the Aleph Concealer/Foundation. The coverage is buildable, so I can add more to my cheeks and nose where I flush for a full coverage, but go more lightly across my forehead and chin so I don't look 'too' made up.
I mix it up between the Babs Geranium + Clary Sage Deodorant and the Tuttofare Deodorant. I think sometimes natural deodorants can work better when you mix them up a bit!
The Aleph Multi-Liner in Blush is the lip liner of my dreams - a soft pink which just makes lips look so beautiful. I wear it all over my lips as the perfect everyday pink lip colour, on its own if I want a more matte look or with gloss over the top.
I've found my holy grail lip gloss! It's Aleph's Aura Gloss in Bare - a tinted nude colour, with just the right amount of tackiness to feel it last on the lips and not disappear away. It's honestly just so lovely, I will not be without it.
I've become a die-hard Alepp Soap addict. A block lasts for such a long time (a few months) and it's as eco-friendly as a product comes. Packaged in recyclable paper, and you use it until it's all gone. It contains just olive oil and laurel berry oil, for a uni-sex scent that leaves skin feeling soft, and not at all dry like some soaps can. I also love that it supports women in Syria - you can read more about it here.
