The new Mellow Woohoo Body Deodorant & Anti-Chafe Stick is a bicarb soda-free, fragrance-free and essential oil-free deodorant for those of us with sensitive skin. If that's you, then yellow is the new black - you are going to LOVE this eco-friendly, plastic-free and very effective natural deodorant stick.
Bicarb is out, and Magnesium is in. This beauty is powered by Magnesium Hydroxide (also goes by “milk of magnesia”), which works an absolute treat at neutralising BO but is softer and more gentle on the skin than bicarb soda.
It also features:
Activated Charcoal: Who cares if it’s so 2018, because, well, what can’t it do? Well you can add another string to the activated charcoal bow because it not only works at keeping you dry it also adsorbs odour. Double thumbs up.
Zinc Oxide: protects your skin and also helps to further reduce the chance of irritation.
Kaolin Clay: helps keep you feeling dry and to also absorb dour.
Polyglyceryl 2 Caprate: This may sound all scientific but it is a natural ingredient. Polyglyceryl 2 = lots of molecules from glycerine, Caprate = an oil ester derived from vegetable sources. Normally it is found in oil cleansers, but it has a cool party trick - it busts BO like a boss.
The plastic-free cardboard tube packaging is biodegradable, and means you don't need to touch your deodorant paste - this is a big win for lots of us. It also means application is a lot faster.
Plus, if you experience rubbing, chafing or discomfort from skin-on-skin or skin-on-clothing, this Woohoo stick can help. Between your thighs ('chub rub' - hey, we've all been there!), under your breasts, arms, legs - just lightly apply Woohoo stick to reduce the friction.
It's plastic-free, nut oil-free, vegan and cruelty free. It's also the perfect size for travelling.
TIP: If you’re used to using an antiperspirant, please remember that this isn’t one! This deodorant works by neutralising odour and keeps you drier by absorbing moisture, but it DOESN’T block your pores with aluminium to stop you from sweating. It can take a couple of weeks for your body to adjust to this type of deodorant but it’s worth the wait!
Directions: Push up gently from bottom of your tube to expose 3-5mm of deodorant. Apply directly to your underarm and other sweaty or chafe-prone areas.
On a very cold day you might need to hold the deodorant to your skin for a moment to warm it slightly first.
Please stop use if irritation occurs. Store below 30 degrees celsius away from direct sunlight.
