What’s the big deal with “gum base”?
Conventional chewing gums often list the ingredient “gum base” — a catch-all term that can include plastics and synthetics without naming them specifically. Honest Gum use chicle instead: a natural gum base made from the sap of the sapodilla tree, sustainably harvested in Central America. That’s what makes our gum plastic free and biodegradable.

Ingredients: Birch tree xylitol (natural sweetener), chicle (natural gum base), natural flavours, glycerol (humectant), arabic gum (thickener), carnauba wax (coating).
