Love Tea Caffeine-Free Chai Tea Pyramids

Caffeine free chai is a great alternative to traditional chai blends, which usually contain black tea. Based on rooibos tea, which is naturally caffeine free, rich in minerals and abundant in antioxidants, this tea is a great option for anyone wanting a chai that can be enjoyed any time of the day. The combination of fresh spices and South African teas offer a unique blend of earthy, slightly nutty and spicy flavours.

Did you know...? Chai, also known as masala chai, originated in the early 20th century in India and literally means 'spiced tea'. 

We are really into plastic-free products here, and we want to let you know that the plastic-looking bags that Love Tea is is packed in, are actually biodegradable plant-based cello pouches, made from renewable resources. This means that you can compost them, and they will break down quite quickly. The tea bags themselves are made from a biodegradable mesh that is made from plant starch, so they are also plastic free and can be placed in your home compost. Happy days!

The boxes themselves are made from recycled, post-consumer board and printed with vegetable based inks. They can also be composted, or recycled.

Directions: Place 1 pyramid into a cup (250ml) and add boiling, filtered water at 85ºc–95ºc. Allow to infuse for 3 minutes, and then remove the bag. Add milk and sweetener if desired.
