We love using The Laundress Sweater Comb to de-pill our delicate knits and fine-gauge woollens.
Two fine metal mesh screens on a cedar wood handle gently pick up stray pills while leaving renewed yarns behind. Simply glide in one direction over target areas.
The Laundress Sweater Comb is ideal for fine-gauge wool, cashmere, merino, mohair, blends, and synthetics; use on items such as lightweight sweaters, wool suits, scarves, and hats.
It delicately collects pills and effectively handles edges such as cuffs, collars, and waistbands.
TIP: For heavier or bulkier knit items, we suggest using the Sweater Stone.
Directions: Test on an inconspicuous area of the garment. Lay the item on a flat surface. Glide the comb in one direction over target areas, using short, gentle strokes. Bulky knits need only a light touch, while tighter knits can take a more aggressive combing.
To clean, remove the collected lint from the screen after each use.
