We absolutely love these zero waste kitchen essentials. Retrokitchen dish sponges are made from cotton and cellulose, so they're super absorbent, machine washable - and 100% biodegradable.
They last for AGES (we just chuck them in the washing machine with the towels), but once they've had it, just pop them in the compost or worm farm and they'll be gone in no time.
Plus, they add some fun to the kitchen sink - kids love them!
