Sustainability: Baggu picnic blankets are made from 100% recycled materials:
Recycled Nylon: All Baggu ripstop nylon styles are made with 100% recycled nylon filament yarn. It's produced from pre-consumer waste, which saves scrap material from being landfilled — meaning every Standard Baggu is now made entirely from nylon that would otherwise go to a landfill. This also conserves petroleum resources, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
Recycled Polyester: Just like Baggu's ripstop nylon, its polyester fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester filament yarn. This yarn is produced from pre-consumer waste, which saves scrap material from being landfilled, conserves petroleum resources, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
Recycled Polyfill: The polyfill used to stuff all Baggu Puffy styles is made from 100% post-consumer recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate), best known as the clear plastic used for water bottles. This recycled polyfill has passed the GRS (Global Recycled Standard) Certification.
