While I have always loved to gobble up any chocolate or sweet treat in sight, I am 'that' mother; the one who is trying to avoid giving my little boy sugary treats at all costs.
While he is free to eat as much fruit as he wants to, I am wary of introducing refined sugars before I have to. In a year or so, I will be the mum who bribes her kid with a biscuit for 15 minutes' peace and quiet at a cafe; of this, I have no doubt. But while he is happy eating bananas and berries for a snack, or yogurt with fruit for dessert, I will not give in!
With that in mind, Easter can be a tricky one. Chocolate abounds! We have lots of nieces and nephews, and we try to avoid giving them too much chocolate, too; we know they will get enough elsewhere! So here is a little list of sweet presents you can give the children in your life - parental permission not required.
Books from The Book Bird
There are so many gorgeous books available for children, whether you decide to go with an Easter theme or not. You can even choose one that is about bunnies! For those lucky enough to live in Geelong like us, check out The Book Bird; they have an amazing range of books for kids, including this little Spot number Charlie will be getting.
Pyjamas or clothes
Book from The Book Bird; Romper from Annie Belle; TOM Tooshies Wipes from Natural Supply Co
I believe that pyjamas are quite a traditional Easter gift for kids; I quite like the idea of starting this tradition in our household. Maybe next year! Cath picked up some gorgeous threads for Remy from Annie Belle - how cute is this little outfit!
Bondi Wash baby products from the Deluxe Baby Box at Natural Supply Co; romper from Annie Belle
Of course we believe that every occasion is the perfect opportunity to give a Natural Supply Co gift - and Easter is no different! We have lots of gorgeous and affordable little gifts for children; from Bondi Wash goodies to a sweet little bear comb or bubble bath.
We hope you have a lovely and safe Easter break with your families; and that this has helped to provide a little gifting inspo!
