LastRound is a reusable alternative to makeup pads and rounds. They're made from a shape-shifting fabric that feels just like regular cotton rounds when liquid is applied, and one pack is good for 1750 uses or more. Then, when they're done, you can throw them in your household compost!
What you need to know about LastObject LastRound:
- What are LastRounds made from? The rounds are made of 70% Scandinavian wood fibers and 30% cotton fibers that are too short to be used in the textile industry. The case comes in two versions and is either made of a plant based material, or of recycled ocean bound plastic collected in Indonesia.
- How do I wash the rounds? The rounds are machine washable at up to 60C/140F. We suggest washing them in a mesh laundry bag, as this will extend the lifespan of the rounds.
- How can I remove makeup stains from LastRound? Most liquid makeup, like foundation, is oil-based, so the way to remove the stains is by using a grease-fighting agent, like dish soap. Wet the area, and apply dish soap to the stain with a soft brush, and then launder the rounds.
- How long will the rounds last? The seven rounds of a LastRound case are expected to last for 1750 uses in total. To preserve the rounds we recommend washing them in a mesh laundry bag.
- Can I use them to remove nail polish? The rounds can be used with nail polish remover, but they will likely not last as long, and it's important that you clean them thoroughly, otherwise leftover nail polish will make them stiffer. Once a round has been used for nail polish, it should only be used for nail polish.
