It can vary in severity, with symptoms flaring up and subsiding day to day. Using moisturisers can help ease symptoms, and it is important to avoid irritants like soap, hot water and synthetic fabrics.

Psoriasis is a common skin condition that speeds up the life cycle of skin cells, causing them to build up rapidly on the surface of the skin. These extra skin cells for scales and red patches, which are often itchy and sometimes painful. It is a chronic disease that often comes and goes.
